Bose 321 sound system - can't get the Directv remote control volume to control the bose speakers volume

@goodwillguy22 go to Menu, scroll down to Settings, and then press the right arrow key on the remote until you get to Remote Setup. From there, the process is pretty straightforward on which TV or soundbar brand to select and the codes needed. If necessary, you may have to try several different codes until one is able to control everything you desire. 

If you have an older HD-DVR or HD receiver, you go to Menu, Settings & Help, Settings, and Remote. 

I performed a diagnostic reset and now my directive-stream remote won’t work with my Bose 321 system. It was working fine until that reset. I’ve gone through all the directtv reset options but not having luck.

I am trying to use the DirecTv stream remote to operate a  Bose 321. It's partially working. I can hear the sound and control the volume. All three devices TV, streaming box and Bose will turn off  using the DirecTv remote.

However, when I  try to turn everything back on with the remote - TV and streaming box turn on but with the Bose 321 does not - I see a green flashings light on the Bose for a second (as if  it's getting ready to turn on) but it remains tuned off.

Any ideas of what the issue is and what I should I do?
