Bose Solo 5 sound bar connection to Directv RC73 remote

I have an RC73 remote & it will not work the power or volume controls on the Bose Solo 5 sound bar.

I tried all the 16 codes available under the find my model portion on the Directv menu for programming an audio device & none of them work. I called the customer service dept. as the screen directed me to & they told me to call Bose. As I'm sure you would expect (as I did) Bose told me to contact Directv. Everyone is pointing the finger at each other, no surprise here.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
