It’s a Bose Solo sound bar. I purchased it in January 2020. I don’t know the remote control number; it’s brand new and is the standard direct tv remote. The receiver is the direct tv genie. 

The remote model number is on the upper front left corner and starts with RC. There are 3 Genie model numbers HR44/54 and then the HS17 Genie2.

The remote is RC73 and the box says C41W-100. 

The Solo needs to be connected by a optical cable to the TV.

There is a Bose setting using the green & amber light.

No lights Bose off

Green light Bose on 

Amber light Bose "listening for TV sound, TV on light turns Green

Above is a separate setting! If you have factory setting, you have to turn Bose on with Bose remote.

If you set up Bose to listen you will ALWAYS have amber light, turn TV on , Bose hears TV, light goes green

I could never get my Direct TV remoteto talk to Solo Bose.

I use the Bose remote for ALL functions

My Bose 700 in theater room connects fine to Direct TV remote. It would not with HDMI, had to get Optical cord for it also.

When I had setting "turning Bose on--- TV on---- Direct TV on and then paused TV Bose would turn off after 1-2 hours and then select play,  = green light with flashing amber  NO SOUND.

Had to turn ALL OFF to get sound back. PIA

I found AUTO-WAKE "google"    pause TV "unlimited time" Bose light goes amber.       As soon as you select play, Bose light goes green sound on!
