Buying HDDVR, hookups

Gentlemen:
I will try to explain as best that I can. First I have 2 seperate dishes on my roof. My 3 lnb dish has 2 dvr's and 2 phillips (reg receivers) hooked up to it. The other dish is a 5 lnb dish and i only have i line hooked up to it, that being an H20.. My question is as follows:
1. I want to purchase a new HDDVR.
2. How would I hook it up?
3. I mean, I know all I have to do is switch the cables from the 3 lnb dish that is carrying the 2 lines from my r-10 dvr to the 5 lnb dish for my new hddvr. ( it will replace the r-10).
4. But, there are so many cables running ito my basement i don't know which ones to switch.
5. In my basement i have 2 4x8 multiswitches. Lines are going everywhere. I did locate the 2 lines that run to my r-10 from my 3 lnb dish, and they run to one of the 4x8 switches.
6. Do i just trace those 2 lines and switch them from the one 4x8 multiswitches to the other...??? or is there more to it.?
