What DirecTV DVR/Receiver model number do you have?

Can you post a photo of that screen?

Your tv is "on" but on the wrong input that's why it says "no signal" in the middle of the screen, the input choices are what's in the corner. Use your TV remote to select the other input

Let’s get you back to watching your favorite programming, @Jboyd73!

From the picture you posted, it seems @nabukl may be correct. Your TV being on the wrong input is the most common reason for this message. To start, make sure your DIRECTV receiver and TV are both powered on. To change your input, press the input button on your DIRECTV remote. Repeat this step until you see your DIRECTV programming or you are back on the same input. Your TV’s manufacturer’s remote can do the same thing, but you may need to contact them for instructions.

Other items can cause this error message. If the steps above do not resolve it, we recommend using our DIRECTV No signal article. This will assist you with identifying and correcting other causes.

Please let us know if this was helpful.
