Caller ID Issue with HR44 and Genie Clients

I opted for the HR44 because it did have a LAN phone line connection and it sort of worked until the recent Genie updates.

 

Now it does not work at all, but I am getting CID on the Genie Clients.

 

How can that be?????

 

I am so tired of Direct TV (ATT) making such irrational assumptions like telling their customers that no one uses LAN lines and CID is not important.

 

Been a customer for along time, but there are so many more options now with streaming, etc, I do longer need this company for TV.

 

Why does CID work on the clients and not on the Genie HR44.

 

Another annoying update!
