Caller ID on all receivers? / Stupid emial harrassment

I just connected one box to a phone line for caller ID.  I have 3 boxes all connected via SWiM (Whole-room) --new equipment.  While the caller ID works on the box directly connected to the phone line--it doesn't on any other box.  Of course Murphy's law is in full effect--the box I want the caller ID display isn't near a phone jack...can the Caller ID be transmitted between boxes like recordings?

And now for something completely different...

I foolishly gave DirectTV my 'real' email address initially.  They promptly bombarded me with a torrent of useless annoying emails--'use the power button to turn on the box' level stuff.  After 10 such wonderful emails in about a week--i changed my login to a bogus email--just to stop this nonsense.  I have gone through all the privacy/contact options I see under the account and told them I don't want anything--but to no avail.

Is there a way to stop directTV from annoying the heck out of an existing customer?  The same is true for physical mailings--I keep getting similar postcards in the mail.  I signed a 2 year contract.  Brazenly abusing my contact info like this--and denying me the ability to stop it--is only making me more likely to not recommend them/not re-sign with the time comes.

Any help will be appreciated.
