Can install happen without entry to home (pre-wired)?
Hi
Fairly tech-savvy, have done installs inside before. House inside is such a mess right now I would prefer to have them install the dish outside and to just complete the install myself inside. Is this done? We have modern coax wiring inside the walls.
A few other questions:
Can the wireless Genie for 2nd TV go between floors of a house? Will the signal be strong enough?
Does the dish stop at the modem before moving to the DirectTV box, or just go straight to the box?
Will the installer have a long enough ladder to reach a 30-40' roof (3-story)?
Thanks

No, they won't permit self-installation.
It's hard to predict the wireless Genie coverage. That's one reason why the installer must come inside to check things.
Satellite coax will run directly to your main Genie DVR.
The installer will most likely not have a ladder to reach the 3rd floor. They'll want to install it on the side of the house or a pole in the ground.
