Cannot pair RC73 with Vizio smart TV
Looking through some old questions, I found multiple codes including 960 that you are supposed to enter after holding ”select” and “mute” to pair the remote with the TV. After each one, the LED flashes red, and nothing works. I have power, volume, and input control, but I don’t know how to get it to go where I can select Netflix, Youtube, etc. Also, once I turn the TV on, I don’t know how to transition between cable and Netflix smoothly.

Great job on the programming of the remote. Let us help you finish up the process.
According to your statement you are trying to pair the RC73 remote to your TV.
The RC73 is not a universal remote. It has no functions to pair to the smart functions of your Visio TV. You will still have to use your Visio TV remote for the smart functions(Youtube, Nextflix, etc...) You should have a Home button(the house) that should be able to pull up your apps on the TV and you can select them from there.
