Cannot use bird on the west...

I am in Ithaca, NY, 14850, and the dishpointer suggests 225 azimuth.  I cannot get anythng from the west - trees.

I found on he web that there are dishnetwork birds at 61.5, 72 and 77.

Cound the installer point to these so I could get reception?

no,  DTV only has sat's at 99,101,103,110,119.  If you can not 'see' the main three (99,101,103) then you will not be able to have DTV.

Yes, if you subscribed to Dish Network.  Won't work for DirecTV.

Have you tryed to put your ford key into a dodge ingnation, or a chevy wheel on a wheel borrow?  Same results.

                                                               THEY ARE NOT COMPATABLE.
