Cannot watch 4k without blackouts
Whenever we try to watch something on our 4k Samsung TV, the picture will intermittently go black for a moment or two and then come back to the live feed. It's not fun to watch sports this way. The blackouts come and go but it's annoying enough that we don't bother with anymore.

It must be a handshake issue between your TV and DIRECTV receiver. In the future try plugging the directv receiver into a different HDMI port (i.e. HDMI2 instead of HDMI1). You can also try using a different HDMI cable.
