Can't delete shows on the app

I've received conflicting info verbally from 4 agents on deleting content on the app. Does anyone out there have a satellite subscription to DTV with set top boxes and not able to delete content in the app's My Library? My setup has the Genie in my Living Room and a Genie Mini in the Master Bedroom. There are also 2 standalone receivers in two different bedrooms. I have the Entertainment and Sports Pack package. 

Responses from the last 2 Agents:

Agent 3 who did a remote session to see my physical setup, my TV and the DTV app on my laptop, phone and Smart TV: I've worked support for the last 5 years here and there is a problem because you should see the option to delete the recording in My Library. There should be an option with "Watch Now" and "Record" to delete your show. I will open a ticket with the backend team. 

Agent 4 who read Agent 3's notes, worked with the backend team and called me the next day with this response: Not being able to delete on the app is an updated feature for all customers who have satellite subscriptions with set top boxes. Your receiver is the only place you can delete content which you recorded on your receiver or the app.

There are no recent YouTube videos on deleting on the app. 

Repeating my question: Does anyone out there have a satellite subscription to DTV with set top boxes and not able to delete content in the app's My Library? I would like to see image

AFAIK you can only delete recordings from the Genie or using the mini and from the two stand alone if they are not setup to prevent deleting from other devices.  The app has never been able to delete recordings.  That may change with the new partners.

Deleting from the app isn't an option. Has been requested many a time.

Currently you must be at the box to delete, or one of your other boxes (same physical network) if you have remote deletion on.

If new co-owners/partners plan to change this, we do not know.
