Can't figure out how to record from the next day

Just got DirecTV today and wanted to set up a recording of Mad Men which is on Sundays at 10p on AMC.

I navigate to AMC in the guide (channel 254), jump forward 24 hours to about 4:30pm Sunday, then advance

to 10pm.  It says "Max Max 2: The Road Warrior."  What gives???

(FYI, I have no idea what receiver model I have and just selected HR24 to get the system to allow me
