Can’t find signal with new replacement dish

My dish was hit by a tree and we lost our signal.  It appeared to bend the arm and move the dish down. After repositioning the dish and straightening the arm did not solve the problem, I installed a new dish.  Slim line 3 swm LNB.  Pointed dish at satellite recommended for this dish to coordinates for my zipcode and put new cable from dish to splitter on side of house.  Still all zeros on signal!

Frustrated beyond belief.  Any ideas?

I forgot to add, I have a HR24-500-R receiver

The error message is the same one you get when signal is blocked by weather or an obstruction. 771

That was not helpful.  What I need at this point is to determine whether the connection between the dish and the receiver is good or not whether there is a signal or not. I know there is no signal.

Just to make sure the power inserter is connected to the red power pass through port on the SWM splitter?

Did you also replaced the mast?  If it is not level then the dish will be off.

I finally got it to work.  I changed the elevation 4 degrees at a time and slowly rotating the dish across about a 30 degree arc until I finally found a signal.
