Whole Home DVR does not use your internet. I uses the SWM system and the coaxial cable connected throughout the house to each receiver.

If you are currently enjoying On-Demand, watch from beginning, PPVs, etc. you WILL need to reconnect WiFi on the receiver when your new ISP installs service.

DirecTV is service by satellite, not your internet. Whole Home DVR is through the coax cabling of your DirecTV service.

Internet has nothing to do with Whole Home DVR. All it deals with is optional On Demand content. Cable, DSL, or even fiber makes no difference.
