Concurrent IR and RF Remote Operation

For the HR21-100 or HR20-700 receivers, is there a remote control configuration that would allow the receiver to operate in both IR and RF modes concurrently? Let me explain the nature of this inquiry. I have multiple receivers inside a cabinet and use RF control for operation w/o problem. However I also have a Slingbox Pro-HD unit that uses IR to control devices. Therefore I need the ability to operate the DTV receiver using both IR and RF control, if this is possible.
