Connecting my HR24R in my RV problems...HELP!!
I have an SL5 LNB dish, an HR24R in the living area and an H24-100 in the master bed area and can't get them to read a satellite signal. I tried them in the house before putting them in the RV and they worked fine, but when I hook them up now, I get the 775 and 771 code. I also get the 'need the B-Band converter', so I found one and installed it; still no Direct TV. I took it out and installed a MSPLIT2R1-03 SMiM splitter between the outlet and the H24; still get the 775 and 771 codes (tried it with and without the B-Band converter) Am wondering if I need an SWiM adapter? I THINK we had one at the home install (not there, so I can't check it). Also, would I need an adapter for the H24-100 in the bdrm? Last, I also installed the Cinema Connection Kit and do get connectivity (question here..do I need to run a cable from the wall to the CCK, then from the CCK to the HR24?) Thanks for your help!

All SWM LNBs need a 21v power source AKA power inserter. This is a 29v power inserter that will also work.
Yes the CCKW is connected inline with the HR24 with coax.

No Ethernet cables are needed as the CCKW uses the coax to provide the internet to all connected receivers.
The "To Wall" coax port connects to the dish coax then the "To IRD" (I think Inside Receiving Device) port goes to the HR24

Does the RV LNB have one or four coax connectors? Are you trying to use the CCKW in the RV?

Thanks...single coax into a green splitter (SWiM splitter?) w/two cables from splitter. Yes, we are using the CCKW in the RV...can get a connection where we are, although internet is not always available.

Do you mean the SWiM box/adapter? No, I don't; thinking that is my problem?

Also, about the CCKW, I have a coax in and a coax out to the DVR? Correct? do I still have to connect to the DVR with a CAT 5 line?

Thanks; very much appreciate your help!!! The SWiM adapter should be here today or tomorrow; when it arrives, will hook it up as you suggest. Will let you know how it goes. Again, thank you so much for your timely help!

Well, I got the SWM adapter this am and hooked it up and got nothing, so I unhooked the CCK kit, the splitter and hooked the cable from the wall to the 'pwr to SWM' port and the IRD port directly to the port on the back of the DVR (satellite in swm 2) and rebooted the DVR. I let in boot back up and nothing. Get the 775 error code. Checked the satellite pointing, it was correct and tried both LNB3 and LNB5 dishes with and without SWM, still get message code 775.....unplugged the DVR again to reboot everything and still get the 775 code!!! Not sure what to do next.....open to anything...thanks!

I'm thinking that the RV coax wiring has a non SWM splitter somewhere unless it has worked before.

It did work before...I have also had a Genie set up on it and it worked fine. I am baffled! I have run the coax cable from the wall to the SWM box (Power to SWM port); from the SWM box (IRD out port) to the HD_DVR port that says Satellite in swm 2 and have disconnected the Cinema box....am I missing something?

You use the SWM1 coax connector on the HR24.
