Considering whole house DVR. What is the max # of HD TV receivers

I've got a large home and would like to have 8 HD receivers all with DVR capability. If this is possible would I need more than one dish and more than one DVR?  Also, what would be my limitations as far as how many programs could be watched and/or recorded simultaneously? Thanks in advance.
