Continually records already viewed programs
HR44-500 Main Satellite Receiver Box was unplugged for a short period. Since then, my system continually records programs that I have already recorded, viewed and deleted. Example....I have been recording a program and viewing it for years. I view them and then delete them. Ever since the HR44-500 was unplugged, my system re-records the programs that I have previously record, viewed and subsequentially deleted. I can delete these unwanted recordings but they show up again. This has happened once before when I 1st subscribed, it for some reason it just went away. Is it possible that all of this may have something to do with the Wi-Fi in my house.(?) I don't have any other service other than Direct tv. Any help would be appreciated.

My Directv keeps re-recording programs that we have already viewed. This just started after my wife unplugged (for a few minutes) the main box/router I've gone through some of the menu's and it appears that the "router" is connected to our internet which we never had before. It appears that this connection is the problem. How can this be fixed.

FIXED Long story short. When the router was powered back up, the router connected to my internet wi-fi. That was the cause of the problem. We went through the system options, disconnected the wi-fi and now we are back to normal. Don't ask me or customer service how or why, because neither of us know.
