Customer care is pitiful
Was told of technician appt between 8 and 12 today. Never called(although they tried to tell me they had) and never showed. When i called to complain, the best they will do is tell me to be here again tomorrow. Because everyone can take off whenever they want. NO ACCOUNTABILITY.
DISHONESTY. LACK OF COMMITMENT. POOR CUSTOMER CARE. Only took less than 1 week of having service for you to show this. Will disconnect service and relay through every contact I have and any media outlet that will listen

Could not agree more strongly. They are somewhere between incompetent and liars. We waited for a tech who was supposed to show up between 12-4. No one showed up. When we called, they said the tech - to whom they outsource everything - was not available and was never going to come. They couldn't explain why they couldn't have told us that.
We were told someone would be here tomorrow between 8 -12. When I called to discuss this - a total waste of time, of course - the recording said a tech would be here tomorrow between 10-12. I asked Antonio the (alleged) supervisor why the discrepancy in times and what IS the correct time. He was unable to tell me. So he transferred me. Where I was on hold indefinitely. The whole call took over 30 minutes and still no resolution.
Verizon has really improved their customer support, so we will be switching to FIOS asap.

I switch to FIOS last week, had a problem getting DVR to authorized. Verizon had a tech here within 24 hours who fix the DVR problem and made sure all of the STB ward working. Also saving $60 a month. So far very happy
