DECA clink blinking orange
Called tech support, power cycled EVERYTHING, still won't see the network... tech rep coming in a WEEK!
Is there anything I can do on my own?
The DECA is in the office with the residential gateway (router), power inserter and HD DVR in living room, and HD receiver is in the bedroom.
DECA blinks cLink orange (or yellow).
Thanks!

Check the connections. I had a cat5 connection that wasn't pushed in all the way.

If that doesn't correct the issue, post back and we can give you instructions for checking your router setup and doing a power off reset of your system that will reconfigure your network.

I checked all of the coax connections and the one ethernet connection to the DECA, all are firm and tight.
It seems we had a slight power outage over the night, some things in the house lost power, some did not. (microwave clock flashing, stove clock not) So it must have been a very short power outage.
I appreciate your assistance.

I believe the c.link light indicates the status of the coax network, which suggests a problem on that side of the DECA and not with the router or the Ethernet side.

A dead give away. The entire DECA system depends on a reliable and constant power supply. I personally have a UPS on both my main TV location (to power the SWM power inserter) and at my computer (to power my router, modem, and DECA power supply). You never lose your configuration this way, and never get brown out damage. Here's the way to rest your system; Must be done in the order listed.
Leave all coax and Ethernet jumpers connected. Disconnect AC power from your receivers, then your DVR's, then the DECA/router module, then the power inserter. On your computer open the options for your router and assure it's set for DHCP auto configuration. Then reconnect power to the SWM power inserter, then the DECA/router power supply. Then to any DVR's, and finally to your receivers, allowing each to boot up before proceeding. The DECA modules should all have green lights.

Okay, so I tried this... really thinking this would be it. Hoping that doing things in the proper order would be enough. I still have an orange cLink light on my DECA.
Please note, I have only one DECA.
How long should I leave everything unplugged before I start powering things back up in this sequence?
I'm new to DirecTV, it was just installed a week and a half ago, though... it took the guy FIVE hours to get everything working. Everything worked great until this morning.
I hope I didn't make a mistake switching from UVERSE. They don't have Sunday Ticket, but I NEVER had trouble with DVRs seeing each other... and they didn't need DECAs or anything.

After Unplugging everything that was suggested. You must power back up each unit separate with about 10 to 15 sec's inbetween power-ups. Starting with the SWM power supply, little black box with a green light on it. After that plug in the power for the Internet DECA you are having issue with. Then plug in your HD/DVR. Once the HD/DVR has fully powered up and acquired all information and you are able to view programming check the Internet DECA. If the clink light is still flashing orange, the service tech is needed. You might have a bad DECA or SWM splitter in line that will need to be replaced to get it back up. If that is the case just go ahead and start powering everything back up and just leave the Internet DECA unplugged until the service tech comes out.
