Direct Tv or Landlord

I have direct tv installed and the power cord has a piece of metal sticking out that cut me but not badly. Because of this, I had a disagreement with someone that is telling me that my landlord is liable for any damages / harm caused to me or company from the wiring of direct tv. I disagree with this and I believe from past experiences, direct tv is responsible for any damages or harm that is caused from the equipment that is provided. We also discussed that if the satellite was to fall, would the landlord be liable / responsible? Someone please provide me answers. I'm in Pennsylvania.

Are you stating that once my services are installed, everything is now mines and any damages caused because of the way Direct Tv installed is now my responsibility as well as my landlords?
