Directv Error 771

We have been seeing error 771 for over a month now. We had a technician come out a couple of weeks ago and the error disappeared for a week or so. It just started happening again and we can’t get anyone on the phone to get another technician out. The automated system keeps hanging up. I understand that there might be really long wait times, but I can’t even get to that point in the automated system before it hangs up on me.

I don’t know what else to do any more. The useless info on the support page for 771 doesn’t work so please don’t tell me to visit that page again.

The only way to setup a tech visit is to call keep trying.
