What is the receiver model and remote model? You should simply be able to go to Menu, Settings, Remote Setup, Program TV, choose your TV brand and model, and the receiver should automatically find the codes to program the TV. Otherwise, a screen will show prompting you to follow a series of steps and input a code to program the remote with the TV.
