Directv Guide Trouble

The power went out......then my directv reciever turned on but, the guide isn't working.  For excample if i wanted to record the saturday night movie on hbo instead of listing whats on that channel it says for the whole day Upcoming: Love Happens.  So I can't use my DVR even for shows on different channels like abc family friday night lights i can't record that either.  Some channels are even blank and don't say anything.  Some channels tell whats on.  So basically i can't use my DVR.  Thanks
