Directv receiver keeps getting stuck on "just a few more seconds" screen when reset

I've reset the receiver, unplugged and restarted multiple times - but the Directv receiver keeps getting stuck on the blue screen ("just a few more seconds"). Any ideas what else to try before contacting Directv for a new receiver? Appreciate the feedback. Jeff

What DVR/Receiver model number?

Sounds like it will need to be replaced.

It's an older one - HD DVR Model HR21-100
