@ATTHelp my remote randomly stopped pairing with my tv, nothing has changed except the remote will no longer control our Samsung TV functions. When I try the RF set up, the light on the remote flashes green for 10 seconds and then flashes red and does not pair. I’ve tried multiple times with new batteries. I’ve also reset the remote to factory settings. I can never get to the step where it pairs with the TV or asks for tv make/model. Do I need a new remote? Do I need a new box? Is there any way to reconnect my remote to the tv?
I have a Samsung UN40 EH and just got a Genie with a RC68RX. None of the codes work. I know the TV is older and they no longer ask for the model number of your tv when you go thru the pairing process, so what's the solution? 13382 didnt work.

If you have the 2nd generation Genie (HR44) or later, you should have the Genie remote which is the RC7X series. If you have an RC6X series, that is for the original Genie (HR34) and older models.
Direct Message is the in-house forum message system. When logged in, there is a chat box icon in the upper right (next to the bell for notifications and your profile picture).
To look up additional codes for your exact model of remote, check their remote code lookup tool.
I have an RC73 remote control and I cannot program it with my Samsung TV (model # UN43NU6900)
I have followed all the steps, I’ve talked to a Direct TV customer service representative twice. The first one told me I needed a new remote control, so they mailed me a new one…same as the old one… and still doesn’t work. Yesterday, 5/29/22 I called again and spoke to a representative on the phone and he walked me through the steps, (again), and at the end he told me: “Sorry but our remotes don’t control all tv brands or models”. So I give up… I may switch to Comcast.

I am so frustrated…
