DIRECTV Solution: This TV Does Not Support DIRECTV Ready Service

Resolve Issues Setting Up DIRECTV Ready

DIRECTV Ready Service allows your TV to connect without a receiver. In some instances, you may see “This TV Does Not Support DIRECTV Ready Service.” As long as you have a supported TV, ignore the message and continue setup.

Also, you may encounter this message while reconnecting your Genie Mini to your Genie. For almost all of our customers, it is safe to ignore this message, by choosing 'Continue' in the bottom right-hand corner.

If you continue to see the message and unable to setup, power down your TV and try again.

Heads Up: You may need to re-pair your remote by pressing and holding the Mute + Enter buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds
