Let’s work on getting your remote programmed, @Tedney

Usually, with a quick run through the receiver menu, we can find available codes that will work for you TV: 

1. Menu > Setting and Help > Settings > Remote Control > Program Remote > Program TV
2. Spell out the TV Brand or Scroll through the list to Find Samsung
3. Even though you know the model of your TV, we recommend choosing “I don’t know my model”. This will allow the receiver to try all codes it knows, rather than limit the options to just that model.

The manual steps for programming the universal remote are included on the screen, but we want to make sure you are focused on the flashing green light at the top of the remote.  If it is not flashing properly, it will not program.

• When holding mute and select, the green light should blink twice before you enter the first code
• The light should blink twice again after you enter the 5 digit code

We also offer our Online Code Lookup Tool if the codes in the receiver do not work. However, there are rare occasions where the available codes are not compatible with the specific model.
