DVR Client having issues

2nd issue-Client becomes unresponsive after watching TV for a while. I can pick up the remote and hit any button and nothing happens. If I hit 10 buttons, still nothing happens...until a few minutes later and it finally catches up and THEN does the 10 button combo that I tried 5 minutes prior. It's ridiculous and I'm just about sick of picking up my remote and getting no response. 

 

What's wrong with my DVR Client?

What client model number?

What main Genie DVR model number?

Have you tried also resetting the main Genie DVR?

I did reset the main box with no noticeable change. Hr44-700 and the little genies that come with it, c51-700.
