I have an R15 DVR (standard, not high def). For the past two days, my recordings have been skipping, freezing for a few seconds, and/or locking up and going back to live programing. I have unplugged the receiver three times this evening and the problem keeps occurring. This is only happening on shows that have been recorded in the past two days. Older recordings play fine.
Hard reset/re-format is NOT an option as there are recordings that I need to retain. This problem arises about every 2 to 3 months.
The monthly recurring pricing has just increased by 20%, yet the exact same problems keep coming back month in and month out. I feel as if I am being robbed.

ZIP Code: 66210
Receiver Manufacturer: Other/Unknown
Receiver Model: DIRECTV Plus R15
Date/Time/Duration of problem: 1/13/10 to current
Channel(s) where problem is occurring: Recorded programs
Do you have a Single Wire Multiswitch?: Yes
