DVR install in new home
Hi,
We are getting ready to move into a brand new home in the next couple of weeks. In our old home, we have a (regular) DVR in our living room with 2 lines coming in from outside. The new home has only one line coming into the house (the way the room is configured, the cable outlet is in the middle of the house; everything was pre-wired). We would like to get an HD DVR in our new house but am wondering if this will be possible with only 1 line coming in. My husband seems to think they may be able to do it with a splitter of some kind. Is this correct (if I could get that answer in not so technical terms that would help)? I hope so as we would like an HD DVR in two rooms of our house. Our plan is two regular receivers and two DVR's.
Thanks!
