DVR playback failed no audio/video data packets

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue, 

 

I have 4 DVR's with whole home and never an issue except I would lose one sharing every now and then. Well here recently whenever I attempted to watch something recorded from the kitchen DVR in another room I get the failed playback message, I can watch it fine from the kitchen just not any other location in the house plus attempting to watch another location from the kitchen is a no go. I called DTV and swapped out the kitchen DVR but this did nothing to correct whatever is the problem. 

 

I have restarted and refreshed several times, unplugged all and still same results? 

 

any suggestions?

Have you tried resetting ALL of your boxes using the red reset buttons?

yes, reset and unplugged, several times, if it starts to play which no is really never, it will freeze and have to exit.
