DVR randomly records series when set to record single episode

Question

When I simply press record for one episode, the dvr will at some point decide to record entire series. This has happened on TruTv and recurs no matter how many times I remove it from the series manager. I've had the system for years and know how it should work. Thanks,

Make sure that your default settings aren't set to record series and double check on the show. Your dvr might just be messed up if that's good the only thing is try resetting the reciever and dtv should be able to replace it for u if that doesn't work.
