DVR shows program but won't play

I taped the sunday night football game last night but when i went to play it it shows 3:06 length but when played i get a completely blank screen, can't fast forward etc.  info button shows that it is there but no other sign  To account for the game going long i recorded the post game, which shows the end of the game.  I am not aware of balcking out sunday night football games.  Is the game recorded anyway to access it?
