Error Code 622 on Genie Mini

I am now getting an error code of 622 in the Genie Mini (C31-700). After scanning the QR code, it takes me to a webpage that is entitled "How to troubleshoot codes 621, 622…"  etc. All that is there is hit the red button on the main receiver then to hit the red button on the mini which does nothing. Then asks "was this helpful".  Surely, there is more troubleshooting than this.

This mini has been cycling every day now for three days now with a WAITING FOR Receiver message. Have checked cable and connections to mini, and coax to swim to plate in the wall.

Any reference on troubleshooting this would be appreciated.

As stated in your previous thread, that C31 should be replaced. It came with the original HR34 back in 2012 and is considered obsolete in modern standards. I personally recommend a C61, C51, or C61K 4K client as a wired client and a C41W or C61W as a wireless client. Anything before that is considered technically ‘older’ and therefore less efficient.

If there is an actual coax connection issue in the room going to the C31, then you’d need to have DIRECTV come over for a service visit. If you have another genie client to test then put it in room where the C31 is to make sure that the issue is WITH THE CLIENT C31 itself. If NOT, then you need to have a technician come and troubleshoot wiring.

Of course, though, if you are tech savvy, you could look for an obvious issue in the coaxial cable going from the splitter to the C31. Corrosion on the conductor of the coaxial cable, crushed parts of the cable, or a bad splitter could be reasons.
