Ethernet network connection status 'OK' but Multi-Room Status: No networked DVRs found

I've been with DirecTV for about 15 years and have always been 100% satisfied. I currently have two HR22-100 HD-DVR receivers networked through a Linksys EtherFast router. All system tests and networks tests show a good network connection on both receivers and I am able to download OnDemand content on both receivers. However, the Network Services test shows 'Unable to start Network Services (<202>)' on both receivers. I have 'Opted In' & 'Share Playlist' on both receivers and Multi-Room Status shows 'Authorized' but also shows 'No networked DVRs found' Any suggestions? Thanks

If you are just setting up MRV, do a reset on each for a fresh start and allow some time for the DVRs to negotiate. The network services test is not useful.

Your method of networking has some bearing as well. Hard wired works pretty good, wireless is spotty and powerline is real spotty.

Thanks for your feedback...it's been about 3 hours since reset of both receivers and still 'No networked DVRs found'. How long should the DVRs negotiate before sharing is possible? Thanks again.

So, how are you networked David? How are your DVRs/receivers connected to your router?

bc, You must have at least one HD DVR and you must have one additional HD DVR or HD receiver.

I've got two HD-DVRs (HR22) networked via ethernet.

It shouldn't take that long.

It should only take a few minutes for the DVRs/Receivers to see each other on your network.

I am also having that problem! Two identical HD-DVR's and they can't see each other. It's been a good couple days.

I'm in L.A. and was told by Directv that the beta is not available.

The rumor is that MRV should officially roll out in May or June.

Additional SWM and DECA equipment is required. Pricing is $99 plus $49 for installation. A $3 monthly charge after that.

I guess I don't understand why we can participate in the Beta, but need specific equipment to make it work. There must be something simple... Setting in the router?

I don't understand too.

My DVRs are connected via the internet. But I cannot join the Directv network so the 2 DVRs recognize each other.

Painful.
