Fast Forward/Reverse sticks.

On both TVs and both recievers, all remotes, intermittently, the fast forward/fast reverse sticks. The pause button won't stop it. The banner at the bottom doesn't move, but the program moves swiftly. The only cure is to shut the tv off and back on again. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey @raylor4,

We're here to help with your remotes. On your remote, does the light (red or blue) stay on? Are the buttons sticky or have trouble at other times?

Try reprogramming your remotes. You can also purchase new remote.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I too thought it was the remote or the remote batteries, but we have three remotes, and all three have the same problem. I called DirecTV and they refreshed the Genie and Genie mini. So far, the probem has not retruned. They are also sending my an new reciever at a cost of $20. I have to send the old one back. Thank you again for your thoughts and suggestions.
