finding satellites
I have an HR23 HD Dvr in my apartment and I tried moving it into my trailer at my shore home on an 18" round dish. I'm sure I am aiming in the right direction azimuth 229 elevation 37 and upcourse no tilt. satellite 101 I am using it in area code 08098 glassboro NJ. I do have a satellite finder installed in the line a cheap from Ebay but does appear to do the job. once I get my strong signal the transponders are zero on every other one. I have changed to multi switch and single switch.
I thought maybe trees were the problem but there are many other dishes around me and they all point in the same direction.
