Flashing blue indicator light

For several days now, ON-indicator light begins slow flashing pattern when the receiver is energized, which was only noticed recently.  We believe the high winds experienced lately may have jarred the dish out of position, that could cause degraded signal reception.  Is the flashing lamp an indication of such a condition, or some other cause ???
