FOX 720 vs ESPN 720
Anyone know why Fox and ESPN broadcast in 720 HD instead of 1080 HD? I have a 58" plasma, and while most say there is not that big of difference in quality, I certainly can see the difference.
Also, is it just me (or my tv) but does the picture quality on FOX seem worse than ESPN? During fast scenes or fast graphics I notice a lot of tiling or artifects on FOX and not so much on ESPN. And, overall, the Fox picture quality just doesn't look that great vs ESPN on any scene.
Any input, comments, answers would be appreciated.
