Gemini audio & picture
We’ve had directv for years and in December we got the Gemini box. It was installed by a pro- not by me!! or Directv. The audio gets garbled- maybe 10 seconds- for almost every show. And today a new thing started— it has rebooted 3 times today- the picture goes black and takes about 20 seconds to come back on.
anyone else having this? We hit the button on the box to reset but not much improvement. And is there a good # to call Gemini Help ? I haven’t had any luck w this.
1 last thing- our WiFi is great- so WiFi not causing the issues.

The Gemini gets it's data from a separate wi-fi link between it and the Genie 2. (I'm assuming that is your setup).
If you have a wi-fi sniffer app on your cell phone, you can see this network on 5GHz.
My experience is contrary to what is said here, I found my disconnections and reboots went down when I connected my Gemini to my home wi-fi also, for whatever reason.

The Gemini doesn't use your home network, the WVB sets up a separate WiFi network. This rebooting has been posted before so it is a known problem.

We have Gemini and genie mini.
Talking to Gemini help desk may have resolved the sound garbling.. but as soon as we hung up, the screen for live tv went black and back on 3 separate times.

The Wireless Video Bridge (WVB) is a separate box connected to the SWM splitter or built in to the HS17 Genie2 that connects all wireless minis to the Genie.
