Gemini box randomly powers off.

I have a Gemini streaming device that powers off randomly.  This occurs a few times a day.  I have reset the box and removed the power cord for 30 seconds.  Still happens.  Any advice?

Have you tried plugging the Gemini into a different outlet? Has this been an issue in the past?

I've noticed a few things in the latest f/w build.

One is that the Gemini get's "stuck" on a blank channel, all black screen... seems like it is off, but hitting channel up sometimes clears it. Power button fixes it.

Also sound cuts out often, and again sometimes jumping channels fixes it, and sometimes on/off.

This latest build seems to have more issues than the last one.

Change the power saving setting. If after 4 hours of no Activities the Gemini Will Power off.  Set it to off and your problem will be cured.

Good catch!

I also had a different, but similar issue with the TV auto off, which confused the CEC.

I was contacted by Directv support.  They downloaded new code and that seems to have resolved the problem.
