Gemini connection to AV Receiver / TV

I just upgraded from a mini Genie to a Gemini. My previous configuration had my smart TV and my Genie connected to my Denon AVR-S650H receiver. In order to set up the Gemini, I needed to directly connect the Gemini to the TV. Now that it's set up, is there a way to connect the Gemini to the receiver rather than directly to the TV and still maintain all the Gemini functions?

Thanks Greg, took supplied hdmi cable from Directv and placed into Denon input cbl/sat. Left hdmi in denon input monitor to arc hdmi on Samsung. It worked! But I now must use two remotes. One to control the directv and the denon remote for volume. I have a denon s750h receiver.

I was able to make the Gemini remote control the Denon volume control.

When you picked the TV in the remote setup, was Denon a choice?

I forget exactly now, but that's how mine works.

Update: I am now able to use the Gemini remote to control the Denon receiver, however it is not a seamless transaction. I have to press the home button or the list button on the remote for a connection to be made. Occasionally, I have to turn on the denon receiver with the denon remote. Thank you for walking me through this process.

So, I'm preparing to transition to Direct TV streaming.  I have a Sony tv with a Denon

AVR-S750H. If I'm correct with following the string above... I connect the Gemini Air HDMI to my Denon HDMI cbl/sat then correct the ARC from Denon to TV. Then when setting up the remote and selecting a tv...choose Denon. Is this correct please and

Correct -Connect the Denon Montior Out to the TV's ACR HDMI input.

On the Denon Check the CABLE/SAT HDMI Setting and set it to enhanced if it isn't already

You are in the DTV sat forum, DTV via internet AKA DTV streaming has their own forum.

@Sonnysmartinis

I was Commenting on the Denon AVR Connections to the unit and TV only.--That has nothing to do with the Internet.  --Connect a Lan Cable to the Gemini Air if it has one. if not, you will need a Router that supplies Wi-Fi.
