Genie Remote Control Programming

I just upgraded to a wireless genie.  Each of my TV sets has both DirectTV and an external antenna connected to it.  When the installer programmed the remotes, he just entered the TV Brand name and didn't enter model #s.  I was able to switch to the antenna and control both the TV's volume and select between channels - just like before my upgrade. Then we had a power dropout.  Power was out for less than a minute and everything rebooted as expected.  However, I could no longer change TV channels with my DirectTV Genie Remote when I was watching TV using the antenna input.  I've tried reprogramming numerous times and I can't get this to work.  I even entered the model number which it didn't recognize.  I've got two Samsung smart tv's and two LG tv's which aren't that old so that surprised me.  It had me going thru a list of 60 possibilities for programming the remote.  I went thru five and quit.  This is too slow and there should be a better way.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can solve this or am I stuck using two remotes?

I’m surprised it worked in the first place. The RC7x remotes are designed to control just TV volume, input, and power. Anything involving controlling the TV cannot be done with these remotes. (i.e. entering the actual TV’s menu, making changes to TV settings, or changing digital channels coming from the OTA antenna in your case)

Just to confirm, what is the remote model, receiver model, and actual TV model?

After the power outage, did this affect all TVs as  far as changing OTA channels or just some?

Also, is the OTA antenna actually plugged into your TV or is it connected to an LCC (Local channel connector kit) that goes into the HR44/HR54?

Thanks! Think my memory played tricks on me.  I have noticed that the "jump to a new date and time" option when using the guide (yellow button on old universal controller) no longer seems to be available.
