Great idea and really works well!

Question

I have an ethernet wired connection between my living room and basement using a Netgear Wireless N Router with 1 gig ports. It only took a minute to set up and all works well. The only glitch that I have noticed is that when you fast forward the program, it seems to go mush faster from the remote dvr than normal, but other than that make sure that you have a good cable connection and it works fine. I have not tried a connection that is wireless yet.

Great to hear! Yes, the trickplay features are bit goofy across MRV. I use the '30-sec skip' button instead of FF when skipping through commercials since it seems to work better.

how do you skip 30 seconds - I can only FF for 30 seconds not an actual skip like I can skip backwards
