H20 can't find good slimline signal
We had a brief power outage and presumably a power surge. Our other DirecTV recievers and various computers all lost power and either automatically or manually were reset without adverse consequence. All the equipment is protected with power surge protectors. The H20 reciever never again reacquired a signal. Despite disconnecting power and resetting the receiver several times, the receiver continuously attempts to acquire a satellite signal. All the open transponders show 0 signal level. That includes sat 101 and the other sats as well. There was no visible damage to the antenna, the zinwell 6x8 multiswitch, the b band-bloc converter or the receiver. I ran a new coaxial cable from the antenna to the receiver.Still no signal detected. I connected the aforementioned slimline coax cable to another DirecTV sd receiver and the signal strength on sat 101 was fine and the reception was normal. I also connected my circular antenna, that is normally connected to the sd receivers, to the H20 sat input. The obviously good signal for sat 101 was not detected by the H20 box (using the H20 sat 101 signal meters). Still 0, 0, 0….0 Signal on all transponders.
