H25-100 and RC71H control by RF possible?

I have H25-100 receivers and RC71H remotes in the guestrooms at my hotel. Currently the receivers are in IR mode.

The remotes have the RF symbol printed on the back of them, so they are apparently RF capable. I called DirecTV and the agent said the H25-100 is also RF capable. But they could not provide me with any directions to allow me to switch the receiver and the remote to RF mode. Nor have I been able to find any guide on the internet.

Anyone have an idea of how to do this? Would an RF antenna dongle be needed?

Thanks.

That remote is not compatible with the H25 in RF mode. So, no, unfortunately, even with an RF dongle this remote would not work for the H25. Those remotes (in RF MODE) ARE SOLELY for Genie receivers and clients.

The H25s all need the RF dongle to do RF and the only remotes that will work in RF are the RC6XR.

Yep.

If you wish to use RF mode with those H25s then your best bet would be RC66RX remotes.
