Hand full of channels dont work
Folks, I seem to have strong signals on all three LNBs except on channels that seem to be missing. Some of the HBO channels, a hand full of others like amc, nick. Any ideas? I've reset the receiver, and reauthorize it as well. On the channels that dont work, sat A seems to be zero, other two are fine.

That's a pretty old Receiver now. Do you have others? Are they working OK?
Please post back with your signal readings for each satellite's transponders. Fill in your readings for each satellite and tuner using these examples. A properly aligned dish will show 80-90s on most of the relevant transponders (although some will be low or zero):
Satellite transponders (32 total at 101º)
[Most of your standard definition channels are beamed from 101ºW]

Thanks for your help. I see a disturbing pattern here... odds being dead... I just want to know where to go with this to fix. LNB or receiver?
Only one receiver here, I did try to switch the cable out to another connection on the LNB. Didn't seem to change anything.

You're missing all of the odd-numbered transponders. That's usually caused by a loose or corroded coax connection at your dish or ground block. But it could be a defective dish LNB or Receiver. Tough to troubleshoot with just one Receiver. Best to call DirecTV and request a service visit. It's free if you have their Equipment Protection Plan, or within 90-days of installation. Otherwise ~$50.
