HD DVR won't wake up

Both HD DVR were dead this morning. Couldn't use remote to wake them. Both needed to be unplugged and restarted from scratch. Both started the restart process and both failed to return to normal. I'm staring at balnk screens, and receivers that are non-responsive.

The busy phone signals on the DTV Help line tells me I'm not alone. This appears to be a major mess.
